In 1977 they became a cult brand almost overnight with the introduction of 'Argyle' socks. The check design originates from the tartan of the Scottish Campbell Clans led by the Duke of Agyll.
In 1985 the Burlington Clip was introduced as the unmistakable trademark of Burlington Argyle socks. It's their distinctive colour palette that we really like and we feel sets them apart.
